  • See this file for a list of sustainability resources in and near Richmond. To see how all these different areas (Food, Transportation, Energy etc.) relate to one another open this Sustainability Web file.
  • See the Yards to Gardens website if you want to share or find all things gardening - whether you have extra space in your yard, extra tools in the garage, extra  mulch, seeds or seedlings, or you're just looking for a space to garden.

Richmond Farmer's Markets

Richmond Kaiser - Thursday's
Thursdays from 11:30 to 5.  It tends to be cancelled when there's rain.  They're on the back patio (enter on 8th St, close to Barrett, or park in the main garage (9th St. between Macdonald and Nevin) and walk through the building).  They accept food stamps.  Delicious organic produce at prices lower than organics at other places.

Civic Center - Friday's 8:00-5:00 - 24th St & Barrett Av.

Point Richmond - Wednesday afternoon

Here's a great video on Annie's Annuals & Urban Tilth
